Im vorangestellten Werk propagiert der Autor die Herstellung von Cider (Apfelwein) anstelle von Wein, da in Großbritannien bessere klimatische Verhältnisse für den großflächigen Anbau von Äpfeln als für den Weinbau herrschten.- Das Schlussblatt (Errata) endet mit der Kustode "To" (so vollständig).- Gleichmäßig etwas gebräunt, Frontispiz u.
